White speckled stoneware tea cup hand thrown on the potter's wheel. The bisque then taken upstate New York to woodfire. This one-of-a-kind tea cup was dipped in a shino glaze and fired in the noborigama chamber of the kiln.
The small tea cup has a copper metallic sheen, and the green-hued areas are crackled and transparent. The speckled clay body subtly peeks through. Spots of melted ash from the smoke and flames are apparent added details around the rim and interior. The color may slightly vary per light.
