White speckled stoneware oil bottle hand thrown on the potter's wheel. The bisque then taken upstate New York to woodfire. This one-of-a-kind oil bottle vase was dipped in a luster shino and fired in the noborigama chamber of the kiln. The woodfire was stoked continuously for 4 consecutive days followed by a week-long cooling period.

The rounded body and narrow spout vessel has green and burnt orange hues. The speckled clay body subtly shows through the crackled glaze. Spots of melted ash from the smoke and flames are apparent added details. The iridescent color may slightly vary with the light.
